In the modern Iraqi city of Uruk, a mysterious statue was found.
The statue can be found in the Pergamon Museum, Germany. However, there is an obvious strange aspect to the statue that we must discuss before we move on to anything else. This statue is inside a sphere.
No other statues were ever discovered to be placed in spheres before so this is definitely one of the strangest discoveries that we’ve ever come across regarding Sumerians and their ancient civilization.
The city of Uruk reached its peak during the third millennium BC, when the statue was believed to have been built. Although the tour guide will inform you that nobody knows the reason for this, theorists from around the world believe they have the answer.
It is generally believed that this is an Ancient Astronaut representation. The sphere could be his spaceship, or the space pod he arrived in. Experts agree that the face looks very similar to the depiction of Anunnaki in the ancient Anunnaki.
